Obituary for Christopher Scott Phillips

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 4, 2017 due to heart complications, surrounded by family and friends at Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre at the age of 36.
Beloved son of Linda and Bill Phillips. Dear brother of Andrew. Christopher will be missed by cousins Heidi Long (Brett), Angela Hiscock (Gord), Nathan Beyerle (Sara), Justin Beyerle (Sarah) and Jeffrey Beyerle (Lauren).
The family of Chris Phillips will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467.
The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 am on Friday, June 9, 2017 followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
A very special thank you to Dr. Nethercott, Dr. MaCleod, ICU nurses Sylvia Sinkovits, Jenn Young, Dave Pickering and all the ER, ICU and Trillium Gift of Life teams for the kind and compassionate care you provided to Christopher and his family, it was so greatly appreciated.
Through the Trillium Gift of Life Network Christopher's donation will save or enhance the lives of others.
