The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donald Cox can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Val, Gary & Leah Graf
Condolence: We are deeply sorry for your loss, words seem so small. Donny was such a presence, even thinking about him always puts a smile on our face. There is absolutely no doubt that his family was everything to him.
"God looked around his garden & found an empty space. Then He looked down upon this earth & saw your tired face. He put his arms around you & lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He only takes the best."
God bless, until that day you are all together once again.
Love you always Val, Gary & Leah

Condolence: When you're a teenager, most friend's parents were non-existent, and if they weren't, you wished they were. Donnie Cox was one parent you looked forward to seeing. It's been a lifetime since those days, but I've never forgotten him. My sincerest condolences to the entire family.

Condolence From: Monica and Jimmie Doyle
Condolence: Please accept our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences on the loss of Donnie. Donnie will live on in the warmth of our hearts. The people we lose remain a part of us. We fondly remember Donnie and will always cherish the wonderful moments spent with him. He definitely left an impression on everyone he met throughout his life and will be greatly missed.

In Donnie’s memory here is an Irish Funeral Prayer from the Doyle Family:
Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again.

In your sadness, may there be hope.
In your thoughts, may there be peace.
In your hearts, may there be healing.

Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
