Lankowski, Valerie Joan
After a 9 year long courageous battle with cancer, Val passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the age of 64. Beloved wife of Thomas for 42 years. Loving mother of Sarah Cochrane (Adam), Peter Lankowski (Lisa) and Angela Lankowski. Proud Grandma of Nicole, Liam, Nolan, Isaac and Noah. Daughter of Ruth and the late Stanley Teeter. Dear sister of Vicki (Terry), Kevin and Kim (Bob).
Val's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 and from 12:30-1:15 pm on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday 1:30 pm. Reception to follow. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Valerie's memorial.
