Dear Betty & family, Teri and my thoughts are with you and your family. I just heard of Doug's passing. I echo the sentiments I read here of the extraordinary life Doug led and the example he was to young medics like myself. I met Doug as a nineteen year old college student ready to save the world. I couldn't list the attributes he taught me during the years we worked together...mostly he taught how to be a big boy and I still quote his teachings to this day. We were blessed.
