Remembrances from Poland

Agnes' family and my family were neighbors in Graboviec, Poland during her early years till 1945. She and my Sister, Ella, were the best of friends during their early yeas till 1944 when my sister passed away.Due to the ending conflict of WWII in 1945, their lives and our lives were forever disrupted. Agnes' family emmigratd to Canada and my family to the USA in Oklahoma. Several years ago, my wife, Geraldine, and I visited Agnes and her sisters, Elsie and Frieda in Kitchener. On one occasion, Agnes hosted all of us for a dinner meeting at her house. We had such a great time sharing remembrances of our good times and difficult times that we experienced during WW II. We also remembered how gracious our LOVING GOD was in seeing us through those difficult times. In Psalms 90:1 (NLT) we read; "Lord, through all the generations you have been our home."  And Ps. 91:2 (NLT) we read: "This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God and I trust HIM."

You continue to be in our prayers,

Willy and Geraldine Penner, North Newton, KS
