The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Louise Spreitzer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Fred and Theresa,
Our condolences on the passing of your mother, Luise. We'll remember her as a cheerful woman who was a great cook and enthusiastic card player.
In commemoration we're making a donation to the Edmonton Breast Friends Society, a dragon boat team. While it's a bit self-serving, it is a registered charity, and I think Luise would approve. I'm pretty sure that if we asked her if that was all right, she'd say, "Of course!"

Condolence: Dear Gloria and family,

Your Mom, Mrs. Spreitzer was a wonderful lady. She always made me feel very welcome at your home when we were young girls. I have such fond memories of coming over to your house, sleepovers, going on little day-trips with you and your family, and your Mom was always so kind and generous. And she always had ready so many yummy German treats to eat! She was my first introduction to the whole "German Culture". Your Mom was a treasure. Bob and I send you our deepest condolences.
