It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Helen on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the age of 87.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph Michaels.
Loving mother of Marlene Barron (Ron) and Rosalind Diver.
Cherished grandmother of Jeff Barron, Colleen Barron (Adam Kent) and Josi McAulay. Great grandmother of Christi Lee Cripps and Billy Cripps.
Dear sister of Florence Farwell and Statia Reid and sister-in-law to Rene Walsh, Dorothy Walsh, Alphonse O'Brien and Bob Leis.
Predeceased by seven sisters, two brothers and her friend George Cuthbert.
Special thanks to her family, friends and neighbours and especially her niece Marie Egerdeen for their love and support.

Helen was a long time employee of J.M. Schneiders.

Helen's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 11am. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
