My thoughts and prayers go out to John's family. I met John when he moved to Petersburg and became my neighbour, friend and then (as he put it)....my big brother!. I thought of him often, but we lost touch a couple of years ago. So the news came as a shock to me! I have fond memories of "brothers" John, Rob and I doing our Sunday night dinners when we all lived in Petersburg! I also enjoyed his love for music. John, I hope your happy, I'll miss you!
