White, Roderick "Rod"
Peacefully passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Lisaard House at the age of 66. Rod, beloved husband of Janet for 43 years. Loving father of Jennifer Krestick (Andrew), and Mike White (Jennifer). Proud Papa of Charlotte, Thomas, Isla, and Stella. Survived by his sisters Theresa Rafter (the late Harry), Sheila Thompson (Lenny), and Linda Janveau (Gilles) Dear brother-in-law of Kathryn Donahoe (Gord), Joan Burke (David), Bill Smythe (Mona), and Barbara Harknes (David). Rod will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and friends.
A special thanks to Vanessa, Gillian and Margo our wonderful nurses who made it possible for Rod to remain at home. We are also grateful for the wonderful care Rod received at Lisaard House. Such amazing and caring staff that provided a wonderful home to spend his final days.
Rod's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lisaard House would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
