Hofstetter, Helen:
Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Stirling Heights Long Term Care at the age of 96. Dear sister to Clair (Betty) and sister-in-law to Colleen Hofstetter. Cherished aunt to John (Maria), Susan (Chuck), Lib, Mary, Anne (Ken), Steve (Jane), Judy (Ralph), David (Haidee), Maryann, many great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Gerald and his wife, Helen, Ray, Joy and her husband Gord and nephew-in-law, Bill.

Helen grew up on a farm just outside of Kitchener, though most of her life was spent in the city, working a long career in Toronto at Tyndale University College and Seminary from 1964 - 2000. As both city girl and country girl, she had many treasured memories of the annual farm picnic back home.

Special thanks to the staff at both Fairview Mennonite Home and Stirling Heights Long Term care.

Helen's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m at the funeral home followed by the service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Interment at Zion Cemetery, Cambridge.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Tyndale University College and Seminary c/o The Tyndale Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
