Condolence From: Cathy Evans
Condolence: To Cathy’s family
I am so sorry to hear about Cathy. I worked with her as a new PT in 1975 when I first graduated and started my first job at KW. I knew very little about “real-world” Ortho PT. We worked on the 8th floor of KW and Cathy’s sense of humour and willingness to share her experience made my first job one of my favourites. She was a special person, kind to me and the patients. I always felt fortunate to have started my career working with Cathy.

Condolence: Dear Christine and family Sad to hear about your Mom's death. I think fondly of working with your Mom almost 40 years ago as she showed me "the ropes" on InPatient Ortho. She was a kind and caring person who always made sure whomever she was with was comforted and respected. A great lady!
My condolences to all of you.

Condolence: The passing of Catherine is a great loss. It was a great day when I met Catherine at St. Andrew's. We would have wonderful chats as I grew up in Bruce County not far where from where you were raised.
My condolences to you Christine and your family. Your Mom was very proud of you all. You are in my prayers.

Condolence: To Catherine's family:

I am a long time volunteer at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre and I remember when Cathy would come in to take care of one of the residents. Always looked for her car in the parking lot at the home. She helped the resident with the many programs that you were offered by the program staff. Will keep your family in my daily prayers during this difficult time. May you all receive comfort.

Condolence: We are so sorry to hear of the passing of a beautiful gentle and caring lady.
Our condolences to her daughter and families . I visited her for coffee breaks in her apartment and also at the Westmount.
I feel sad that I was unable to visit her as often but Ian was able too.
God saw what was before her
And what she'd have to bear
So smiling down upon her
He took her in his care
Rest In Peace, dear friend . Ian and Dawna

Condolence: Dear Christine and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Cathy's passing. I last spoke to her about 10 days ago. I met Cathy when I came to KW in 1972. I have always admired her and the work she did in the hospital. I was there with my nursing students. Cathy had a caring calm way of working with her patients motivating them to move & do their exercises as required. I was always in awe that she sewed all those perils on your wedding dress Christine. What a gift of love! You are in my prayers as you adjust to life without your special mom. Sending love and hugs, Margie Warren
