Alf is a larger and until you really met him seemed more serious. I would shake his hand at the peace , continue with the service and interact with others who had young children like myself or with whom I was more familiar with. About 6 months of attending church, Alf would have a big smile on his face whenever he shook my hand and say how good is is to have me at the church. We all need someone like Alf to make us feel appreciated.
