Obituary for Rosie Bergmann

Rosie Bergmann
Bergmann, Rosemarie:

Passed away suddenly on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 77.
Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Lydia. Lovingly remembered by her sister Jean, nieces Jo (Michael) and Jane, dear friends Ursula and Bob, and the many others whose lives she touched while working for GRT.

Rosemarie was the first female city bus driver hired in Kitchener. She took great pride in her various professional driving occupations, even owning her own driving school for a number of years. She was an intelligent woman who loved nothing so much as a good joke or an argument. She was a lover of old movies and music, and enjoyed reading, animals, and astrology. She had a generous heart and always wanted the best for those around her.

Private burial has taken place at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. A celebration of Rosemarie's life will be held on August 3, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region or Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
