Obituary for Dorothy Lavina McHugh (Roberts)
McHugh Dorothy L. (nee Roberts)
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Parkwood Mennonite Home, Waterloo, on Sunday, July 1, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late John T. (June 2000). Loving mother of Brian (Denise), Michele, and Bob (Tracey). Predeceased by her sons John and Paul. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Katie (Colin), Sean (Dorothy), Emily (Jay), Calvin, Kelly, Molly, Joel, Delaney, and great-grandson Calyeb. Also remembered by daughter-in-law Nancy McHugh and niece of Wales, Anne-Marie McKay. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home for the loving and compassionate care given to Dorothy 'Vina' over the past three years. Special thanks to Ron and Norma Pineau for their constant support and friendship with Vina. Private cremation and interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener 519-749-8467.
