Margaret Isobel (Stewart) Brookfield,
Passed away peacefully on June 29, 2018 at the age of 83. Beloved mother of Karen (Dereck) and Tarah (Dennis). Loving Nanny to Adam, Lindsey (Greg), and Juliet. Proud GG to Kaden, Greyson, Cullen, and future great-granddaughter.
Born in Lurgan, Northern Ireland on August 17, 1934, Margaret immigrated to Canada, living in Quebec, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and a brief sojourn in Algeria. She lived by the motto: live, laugh, love, and talk! Adventurer, traveller, golfer, and an avid reader, Margaret leaves behind dozens of amazing friends from Newcomers, Bridge, Probus, and multiple Book Clubs. She is now teeing off at the 1st hole with her late brother Frederick (Noreen).
A Celebration of Life will be had on Wednesday, July 4, at 10:30 A.M. at 299 Sydney Street, Kitchener at the Grand River Unitarian Church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Public Library would be appreciated by the family.
