John Ioannis Papazotos
Papazotos, John Ioannis
Passed away peacefully with family at his side at St. Mary's General Hospital on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Polixeni for over 49 years. Loving father of Bill (Doris), George (Angelina) and Ange (Paul Georgopoulos). Proud "Papou" of Polina, Johnny, Sofia, Angelo, Andy, Jimmy and John. "Uncle John" will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families in Canada, Greece and Germany. From Olympic to Imperial Billiards to Uncle John's Cafe, The Legend was known for his generosity, great stories and one-liners. A fixture of "Downtown", Uncle John will be missed by many he shared a drink with...the crowd around the card table or those who stood around 2-minutes to post time. The only guy that could work 2 jobs and still party like a rockstar. A great father and friend. Thank you for showing us the way. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
