Loschnig, Klaus:
Surrounded by his family, Klaus passed away peacefully, on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Stratford General Hospital, at the age of 68.
Beloved husband of 40 years to Anna. Loving father of Jerry Usjak, Anna Hobson (Cary), Elena Boersma (Jeremy), and James Loschnig (Sylvia). Cherished papa and grandpa of Alexandra, Christopher, Nicholas, Tyler, Jordan, Larissa, Arianna, Kalvin, Olivia, and Alyia. Remembered by his great-grandson Kaleb. Dear son of Ruth Loschnig. Brother of Albert (Dori), Peter (Kathy), Sylvia Austin (Steve). Survived by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Predeceased by his father Albert, daughter-in-law Anja Usjak and grandson Eric Usjak.
Co-owner with his best friend Peter Esser of Formex Metal Industries in Kitchener. A long time faithful member and deacon of the New Apostolic Church. He loved being with his family at the hill in the summer, as well as being on his tractor, on his boat or in his garden.
The Memorial Service will be held at New Apostolic Church - Margaret Avenue Congregation, 160 Margaret Ave. Kitchener, on Thursday, June 14th, 2018 at 7:00pm. Klaus's family will visit with relatives and friends at the church from 5:30pm-6:45pm. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
A special thank you to Dr. Robert Stephens and the staff in the chemo suite at Grand River Hospital, especially nurse Kathy.
