I am so sorry for your loss. I had known Doug for many years with in the insurance business. We were both Presidents of the Peterborough Fieldsman Association. Doug, myself, Murry Mills, Gary Weir, Ted McDermott and a few others. We set up a program "Meet the Underwriters Night in Bridgenorth which we operated for a good number of years. I was president that year. We all worked for different Insurance companies and competed against each other. I was with Firemans Fund Ins. Company, Doug with Dominion, Murry was with Gore, Gary was with Economical, Ted was with Royal. The great thing was we were all very close in outside activities, golf etc. Doug was always a great guy and the oldest of the group. My son passed the information about your dad over to me, he is Dean Nilsen. So many great memories. I have a photo of your dad at our first Meet the Underwriters Night. Our entertainment was a ski company with models showing off their wares. I will send it to you once I find it. My heart felt condolences to you and all the family. Carl Nilsen
