Algar, Christina (nee Farrell)
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Grand River Hospital on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the age of 75. Christina is now re-united with her beloved husband John "Jack" Algar, who passed away in 2009. Loving mother of Jacqueline Howard (Rick) and Denise Algar (Erik Swanson). Adored "Grandma Chrissie" of Jillian (Tyler), Kevin, Lindsay (Quy), Jason, Sarah and great-grandmother of Leah, Robyn, Cecilia and Theodore. Dear sister of Michael Farrell (Isabel) and Isabel Dosser (Bill). Aunt Chrissie will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
A Service to Celebrate Christina's Life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 1 p.m. There will be a procession to Parkview Crematorium followed by a reception at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the House of Friendship would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Christina's memorial.
