Obituary for Anne Marie Galloway (Schell)

Anne Marie Galloway (Schell)
Galloway, Anne Marie

A note from Anne Marie ~
My amazing mother (Marjorie), kind, patience, my best friend, always gave me guidance and courage, love and wonderful advice that I was able to pass along to my children and grandchildren. These are the values that my Mom instilled in me. Tom and I shared 45 years with wonderful memories together; we were beyond blessed
● 5 wonderful children Michael, Kateri, Colleen, Kelly, Mark.
● 2 favourite daughters-in-law Holly, Ann-Marie
● 3 favourite sons-in-law Mike, Jim, Trevor
● 10 amazing grandchildren Tyler, "My Mister" Josh, Ryan, Nathan, "My Missy" (my sister)
Addison, Zachary, Callan, Tyson, Logan, James.

I was so fortunate to be able to stay at home and raise my children and be very involved with my grandchildren. We enjoyed many memories as a family in Port Elgin, spent a fantastic week at the boat cottage and shared priceless memories together. I couldn’t have done the journey of the last four months without my wonderful husband Tom who was amazing, supportive, and loving. My children were there supporting, loving and taking care of me.
"Always treasure and love each other. You are my family."

Family notes ~ Anne Marie passed in her home peacefully on December 13th. She was an amazing wife, mom, grandma and best friend to her family. She gave selflessly of herself to her family and loved every minute. She was our rock, our soul, our world. She lived by the motto, ‘Family wasn’t just important, it is everything’. When we reflect on her life we do so knowing she lived every day to its fullest with things she loved. We are so proud of her and the inspiration she gave us everyday, but especially over the last 4 months as she fought hard after being diagnosed with brain cancer. She did so with strength, courage, determination, humour and love. You will be truly missed but we know you are now our angel watching over us.
