Schmidt, Kenneth Joseph
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Marilyn for 49 years. Loving father of Deanna and Dwayne. Dear brother of Rosemary Shupe (Jack), Gary Schmidt (Margie) and the late Ronald Schmidt, Anne-Marie Ruston (Terry) and Anthony Schmidt. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Schmidt. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and the Newman family.
Ken's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30-3:15 p.m. on Monday, October 2nd, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Ken's memorial.
