The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert (Bob) McNichol can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

For over 30 years, I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Bob as one of our neighbours. During that period, we saw each other from time at neighbourhood events or as the need arose because of some community issue that had come up…. things such as traffic, water quality/quantity, noise and so on. The entire neighbourhood benefited from Bob’s willingness to volunteer and go the extra mile with his insight and practical knowledge. We have also lost a warm and goodhearted friend.
