Allendorf, Carol Ann (nee Stahle)
passed away at Lisaard House, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer, on Friday January 13, 2017 at the age of 80. Beloved partner and best friend of Bob Ballantine for 30 years. Dear mother of Alan (Lori-Ann), John (Kim) and David (Corinne). "Grandma Carol" to Eric, Cameron (Amanda), Morgan and Dane and great-grandmother of twin boys Elliott and Theodore. Special grandma to Abbey and Christian. Predeceased by parents Wilfred and Ada Stahle, brother Bruce and daughter-in-law Michelle. Dear sister of Jean Uhrig (late George), Wayne (Bertha) and Jim (Anne). Loving goddaughter and niece of Edna Johnston. Carol is survived by many nieces and nephews. Special thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Lisaard House, in particular "Queen" Elizabeth, Katie and Sue.
Carol's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday January 21, 2017 from 9:30-10:45 am at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 am. Reception to follow. Private interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
