STARCHUK, Ivy Leona
(nee Siegrist)
Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's General Hospital on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Roy Starchuk, parents George and Isabelle, brothers George and William, sisters Isabelle and Kathleen and sons William, Daniel and Allan. Survived by sons Jim Wellheuser (Janice) and Donald Starchuk. Will be lovingly missed by 10 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren and one great-greatgranddaughter.
Special thanks to Dr. Bell and the nursing staff on the 5th floor at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassionate care.
Ivy's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 and from 10-10:45 on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
Private interment Mt Hope Cemetery- Waterloo. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
