Don Hogg

Growing up Mom often had limited resources but she always managed to keep us in decent clothes and fed with a hot meal and keep the house - she was always there when I came home from school. I'm reminded of a couple "momizms" she often told me. "Don just slow down""Where's the fire?" "You'll never get rich if you eat standing up" "You go through that stuff like it's going out of style" Facing the challenges of life she followed closely behind dad throughout their marriage - tolerating his sometimes illusive dreams and schemes with rarely a complaint. She was a very meek, mild and devoted soul. She taught me patience and how to respect others. The last couple days It has occurred to me that now mom and dad are both gone They don't need me anymore - but they've left behind people who do. They couldn't take care of me anymore but they've left behind people who could. So I know I'll be alright. Goodbye Mom
