The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Horst Lutsche can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Borden & King Neighbourhood

We moved to King St. E. around 1949.  The Maue;s lived in the house which was soon to become Minnie;s Kitchen.. Alma; lived next door to that with her mother and father (Fred and Minnie)  on the far side was the Stumps. Reinhartd;s Bicycle Shop ; the beaties then the godfrey;s . My understanding was Alma;s mother and father could not find anyone good enough for there daughter ; so they imported someone from Europe which happen to be you know who. I started to know Horst when we used to go for a coffee from Onward Motors ;which was across the street from Minnie,s Kitchen...  Horst ; I believe worked for Uniroyal for many years. He in turn fell in love with Alma. Of Course; then they got married. He was a friend to the Madill family for many years.   Don. Madill
