Hamburger, Peter Sr.:
Departed a well lived life surrounded by his family on Monday, July 9, 2018 at at the age of 95.
Dear husband of Elfriede, his wife of 68 years, loving father to Peter Jr. (Patti Hill). Lovingly remembered by his grandson Jason (Amy), granddaughter Julie Emery (George) and his cherished great-grandchildren: Georgia, Meredith, Jackson, Cohen, and Lucy. He will also be missed by his extended family Lyndsay Warrington (Chris), Jodi Chessell (Troy) and their children. As well as, sister and brother-in-law Gerda and Juergen Otterstein.
A Memorial service will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, ON, N2B 2A5 on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Private interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow at the funeral home for family and friends.
Thank-you to Riverside Staff at Sunnyside Home for their exemplary care, comfort, and compassion.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards are available at the funeral home).
