The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Augusto Neves can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Augusto- Great Dad, Humble Servant

Augusto was always a great father and an incredible role model for his wonderful children.  In the 1970s he also  served as coach assistant with the Kapuskasing High School Junior and Senior Basketball Teams-driving athletes to tourneys in North Bay, Sudbury and Timmins, always doing his work in an unassuming and kind way.                                                       

 His unlimited hospitality at home to guests was legendary. While he suffered injuries from work accidents in the North Country, he never once complained to friends who knew him. He clearly exemplifies the character  of God's good and faithful servant.

We know and believe that he has, through his life on earth, gained favour with Jesus and Mary who were always prayerfully dear to his heart.

May the Lord gather him into heaven with all of the angels and saints. Amen
