With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carol on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 72.
Loving wife of Jim for 54 years.
Cherished mom of Denise (Craig) Price, Randy Yantz, Kathy (Tim) Herd and Craig Yantz.
Adored Nana of Jeremy (Stephanie), Joshua, Karleigh and Great-Nana to Trystan.
Supportive sister of Sharon (John), Darlene (Bill) and Daryl (Dorothy).
Amazing sister-in-law to Carol, Wally (Bonnie), Pat (Wayne), Gary (Janet), Betty-Lou (John).
Up in heaven with sisters Vivian and Muriel, brother-in-law Bobby, parents Myrtle and Lionel and mother-in-law Betty (Gram).
Carol loved to garden, spending Tuesday nights with her card club and had a passion for baking, her chocolate chip cookies were a family treasure!
She loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Carol's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, Ontario on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
