Passed away suddenly at home with family by his side on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the age of 55. Sadly missed by "his other half" Susan and their children Morgan and Bryce. Dear brother of Joseph, his wife Kerry and their son Alexander. Ian was a consummate lover of life and all things in it. A passionate athlete, Fly fisherman, environmentalist, teacher, partner, father and friend. We will miss his Scottish wit and endless generosity. We were blessed to have him in our lives. So now Ian with his dog Torque are starting on the best fishing trip ever and to use his words, "Rover and Out" my friends. Ian's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to an Education Fund for Morgan and Bryce would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Ian's memorial.
