Matic, John:
Passed away peacefully on Saturday February 16, 2013 at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 60. Beloved husband of Ann Matic (nee Crnic) for 31 years. Devoted and proud father of Jennifer and Nancy. Loved son of Ivan and the late Marija Matic (2007). Dear brother of Tony (Blazenka) and a very special uncle to John and Janet. John will be fondly remembered by his father and mother in law George and Ljubica Crnic and brother in law John Crnic all of London. John was the owner of John Matic Insurance Brokers for many years before his retirement and was very well respected by his clients and community. John’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday from 7 – 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday February 21, 2013 at 9:20 am followed by a procession to Holy Family Croatian Church, 180 Schweitzer St., Kitchener for a Funeral Mass at 10 am with Fr. Miro Grubisic officiating. Following the interment in Woodland Cemetery a reception will be held at the Croatian Hall.
