Ahn, Young:
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Grand River Hospital on April 26, 2022, aged 77.
Beloved nampyeon of 46 years to Junghee, adoring appa to Jason (Flavia), Jane, and Jamien, proud harabuji to Yumi, and loving brother to Shinja and Peter, uncle to Roy (Clarissa), Sharon (Lynden), Irene (Bob), Bill, Jenn, Helen (Jean-François), and Liza. He will forever be remembered for his faith and devotion to the church.
We are grateful to doctors Mike Blaszak and Natalie Needham-Nethercott, and nurse Kalem Boomhouwer at GRH ICU whose kindness helped us all find peace and comfort in the final days.
Young's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29th, 2022, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Young's funeral will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home Ltd. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel and will be live-streamed for those who are unable to attend at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Red Cross- Ukraine Humanitarian Crisis Appeal would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
