Passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 2:43 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Sin Roth (1976). Loving mother of Teng Moy (Tay Ly), Keot Rom (Ros Nhean), Teng Trey (Sin Hangsambath), Sin Chhoun Kheang (Kheng Sok Keo), Sin Kheng (Samith), Sin Thoeun, and Neang Sin Brown (Greg Brown). Fondly missed and remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Yen's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 14, 2023 in the funeral home chapel followed by lunch in the funeral home reception room. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
