Condolence: Growing up at Squire Court and in the same grade as Caroline, I spent countless happy hours at the Goss home and have so many fond memories of the hospitality and warmth of Bill and Linda, Caroline and Jason. In particular, Bill and Linda and the whole family were so supportive and welcoming of my fiancé Troy when he came upon the scene in 1990, hosting my bridal shower led by maid of honour Caroline, and providing the lovely setting for the wedding morning photo shoot. Bill even drove Troy and the best man to the church (just barely on time, since Troy and the groomsmen got distracted playing basketball). Just a few of so many wonderful memories with the Goss family. Bill, you will be sorely missed; thank you for the love you shared so generously.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.
He was a man of ultimate integrity and class. I so enjoyed periodic lunches with Bill and Wayne Matheson during our retirement years.
RIP Bill.

Condolence: Bill was one of the true gentlemen at EY. I worked with him during my term in the Hamilton office in the 80's and 90's. The obituary captures much of the wonderful things/aspects that I remember about him. He always had an air of sartorial splendor and carried himself with distinction. That was true even the last time I saw him while he was sharing dinner with some of our other retired partners in Mississauga.

In business he was knowledgeable and tough (a positive characteristic in his line of endeavour), but understood the human side and was willing to work with our clients to find that 'better solution'.

Bill was one of the few retired partners that I often thought of with a nagging sensation in the back of my mind that I really need to look him up. I regret not doing so.

My condolences to friends and family. A truly wonderful man has left us....too early.

Condolence: Dear Linda, Caroline, Jason and families
I was very sorry to read Bill's obituary. I worked with him at Clarkson Gordon during the 80's, an exciting time and he was a great person to work with. I learned so much, about dealing with people during difficult times, cut-throat but with a human perspective. I was always happy to talk to him at other CG retirement parties - although I missed his. You have my sympathy and empathy, he was such a great guy.
