passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on Monday, June 7, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Margarete for over 66 years. Loving father of Hanna Ward, George and Marylou Befurt, Herb and Teresa Befurt, Rick Befurt and the late Bill Befurt (2020). Proud Opa of Nikki (Richard Brito), Michelle Befurt (Mike), Scott Befurt (Vanessa), Jesse Befurt, Christina Befurt, Ryan Befurt (Kaitlyn), Evan Befurt, Joey Befurt (Amanda) and his great grandchildren Alyssa, Carter, Lemmy, Michaela, Nathan, Willy, Maryjane and the late Owen (2016). Dear brother of Liz Bartley and the late Georg Befurt (1959) and Elisabetha Befurt (1941).
Wilhelm's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener.
