It is with heavy hearts Velma's family announce her peaceful passing at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Paul Belliveau (Aug. 1989). Loving mother of Lance Hinschberger (Patti), Lynn Woods, and Kevin Hinschberger (Cathy). Much loved grandma of April Woods (Joe Carvalho), Kate Ducak (Mike), Brett and Tim Hinschberger, Mark, Ian and Amanda Hinschberger, and proud great grandma to Pacific.
Dear sister of Irma Oliver, and predeceased by 6 siblings. She will be missed by nieces and nephews.
Velma would spread her warm smile, laughter and love for anyone she touched. She was truly a woman who shared so much inspiration, a will to never give up and live life out to its fullest. We will miss you so very much.
The family would like to express a sincere heartfelt thank you to staff and family at Trinity Village for all the love and care given to Velma over the last five and a half years.
Velma's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 10th, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
