Trudy was THE best babysitter for our children. Evan and Erin loved her because she was kind and caring and provided a safe and fun environment. We consider ourselves so blessed to have known her. She was so proud of her family and always spoke so fondly of everyone. I also loved her bright garage door colour and all the wonderful decorations for any holiday. I can’t imagine how much you will all miss her. So sorry for your loss.

Trudy was very kind to me when I was a kid and she babysat me. She was an amazing person and truly cared about kids she cared for. It saddens me greatly to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences.

My deepest condolences to Trudy's family and Friends.
We have truly lost an earth angel. Trudy was such a warm and nurturing person. Always ready to help in anyway she could.
Trudy was a devoted mom who would do anything for her children. They were her world. She so loved and was proud of each one❣️
I remember the hours we would spend on the phone chatting about anything and everything; children, husband , life..it didn’t matter the time of day. It was never a dull moment. The life questions we had and how we were going to get the answers. Some answers I know she never got but I’m sure she’s busy asking for them now lol.
Trudy and I would meet regularly at Tim Hortons and as usual chat the time away.
She always had her large tea, bag in, then would eventually top off with hot water and maybe throw in another tea bag. I always thought it odd that she preferred the paper cup. Now I wonder what is the longest she kept a cup going? She was rarely without one. Every time I see someone with a Tim’s cup and a teabag string hanging out, I always think of her.
Together we met a lot of interesting people especially through all the classes we attended. We were on a quest to find ways to help people heal and at the same time discover ourselves and our true purpose. Turns out we are always learning and a work in progress.
Trudy now has her wings. I, we will truly miss her and she will forever be in our hearts. My dear Trudy RIP.
Till we meet again.. .. Cindie

I just found out about Trudy's passing and am shocked to hear this news. Trudy babysat my daughter in early 2000. Our deepest sympathies go out to Derek and the family.
