Heer, Tracy:
It is with great sadness that the family of Tracy Heer (nee Meron) announces her passing on July 22nd, 2022 at the age of 43.
Loved and admired dearly by her best friend and husband of 16 years, Jeff Heer.
Adored by her two beautiful girls Abbott and Isla, who will miss her so much.
Daughter of Dan and Dale Meron and sister of Wendy Demarte (Matt) and Ryan Meron.
Daughter-in-Law of Jack and Leslie Heer.
Sister-in-law of Jamie and Sarah Heer, Joe and Deanna Heer, Josh Heer and Natalie Farrell.
Special Aunt to Carter, Mateo, and Owen, Jenna and Lauren, Jameson and Jackson.
Tracy spent many years as a teacher with the WRDSB at J.F Carmichael and Southridge Public School. Her passion was teaching and helping children. She truly loved what she practiced.
Tracy's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, July 27th at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue on Thursday, July 28th from 9:30am to 10:15am with a Memorial Service in the chapel at 10:30am. Reception to follow.
Tracy's family would like to thank all of her doctors, nurses, and caregivers for their ongoing efforts to fight her ongoing battle with cancer.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Terry Fox Foundation, Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre, and The Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
