Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Innisfree House at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of João for 63 years.
Loving mother of Maria and John.
Cherished Avó of Daniel and wife Stacey.
Bisavó of Julia and Cohen.
Will be missed by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Ernesto and Marianna Da Costa and her six brothers.
Teresa’s family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 9 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Holy Rosary prayers at 8:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 noon, Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 300 Simeon St, Kitchener. Private Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation- Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
