SHYDLOWSKY-WALAGA, TAMARA (1949 - 2021)
Tamara passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, Ontario on February 10, 2021 at the age of 71. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Donald Walaga; children Larissa (Doug) and Roman (Brittney); and grandchildren Joseph and Victoria Williams and Lincoln and Presley De Monte. She is survived by her sister Anita (Hassan); her niece and nephews Nadia, Adam and Bohdan El-Fawal; her aunt Ivanna Ivanchuk (Ukraine); cousin Yaroslav Ivanchuk (USA) and many other extended family members and friends.
Tamara had a passion for teaching. She taught biology at the University of Guelph, driver training for many years and inspired a great many students as a Ukrainian language teacher. Tamara was also a church choir director and really enjoyed teaching music and coordinating school concerts and plays. She always did everything to help her family and friends and was very active in her community. She loved her flower and vegetable gardens, reading, travelling and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Tamara was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Irene; and beloved daughter Raissa.
