McCartney, Sylvia:
Passed away on March 12, 2024 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 88.
Predeceased by her beloved husband James McCartney (2020).
Loving mother of Lesley (Kevin) Fair and Lyn (Mark) Mach.
Cherished nanan of Megan (John), Robyn (Tyler), Melanie (Alex), Jason (Tasha), Samuel, and Melissa (Mark). Great-grandma of James, Kayson, Leland, Lincoln and Everly.
Predeceased by her 8 siblings.
Sylvia loved traveling with Jim, was an avid knitter and enjoyed spending her days drinking a tea on her balcony. Her grandkids were the light of her life. She loved doing crafts with them every Christmas.
As per Sylvia's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family gathering. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467.
