Obituary for Stuart Rodney Swing
Swing, Stuart:
Stuart passed peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on July 16 2020 with family by his side at the age of 48.
Beloved son of Alice Swing and the late David Swing (2012), brother of Sanderson Swing, and partner of Darrel Kanyok.
Stuart will also be remembered and missed by many family and friends around the world.
Stuart lived a life of passion for design, the arts and the betterment of the people around him. Stuart spent the past 17 years living in Nova Scotia where he fell in love with the province, it’s people and it’s natural beauty. The family thanks those who loved and supported him through the past 3 years. Stuart’s light shone even through troubled waters.
Many thanks to the Nurses of Halifax QE2, Grand River, Freeport and St. Mary's Hospitals who gave him such loving care.
As per Stuart's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Waterloo Region Food Bank or House of Friendship would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
