Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on May 19, 2021 at the age of 89.
Husband of Ruth for 67 years, Stuart is survived his children Linda Elliott (Terry),
Ralph Bowman, Judy Drake (Harvey) and Roger Bowman (Karen).
Grandfather of Jeffrey Elliott (Veronica), Kevin Elliott (Valerie), Matthew Drake (Melanie), Laura-Anne Drake, Eric Drake (Amy), James Bowman (Cheryl), Andrea Bowman, Randy Bowman (Rosemary) and Derek Bowman (Ruth). Great grandpa to Caleb, Henry, Evelyn and Violet. Brother of Enid Crowley and the late Harold Bowman.
Stuart is a graduate of Rockway Mennonite Collegiate and Ontario Mennonite Bible School, Kitchener. He was a faithful member of Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church and an active member of the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society since 1957. He was committed to the Camping Ministries with the EMCC.
A private celebration of Stuart's life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday, May 25th. All are welcome to attend via live stream https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming beginning at 2:45 p.m. Interment at Roseville Mennonite Cemetery.
