I remember Steven from my early days working for "Camp Horizons" up in Paisley Ontario. He always had a smile beaming from ear to ear and each year upon his return to camp, Steven would greet each returning staff by name even though he hadn't seen them since the previous summer. During talent night, Steven would often put on a performance of his impressions that he could do and the one that always got the encore call was his impression of Ernie from Sesame Street. I remember Steven coming back from a mens night out event from the near by race track and spending the next day telling staff in great detail all about the cars, the winner the cars that crashed and the food that he ate. He loved spending time in the community around camp and could often be seen helping someone else who just needed a friend. Steven was a friend to all. Steven may you now rejoice sitting at the feet of the One who created you knowing that the race you ran was well done by a good and faithful servant. May we all try to be the example of Christ in our every day lives as you were.
