I remember meeting Steven when I was about 10 years old. My sister was dating (& is now married to) John McNeill so our family would attend occasional events at Benton Street Baptist church. Each time I met Steven as a child, I was curious about who he was & found him so friendly. I have worked at CH for 15 years & a few months ago began a contract at Waterloo SIL - what a delight to reconnect with Steven & have the privilege of supporting him. From the first day, he was warm & patient. He brought out his photo albums to show me his family & proud moments in his life --- he has ALOT of photo albums. I have been a privilege to be part of the SIL team supporting Steven. And it has been a blessing to serve many, many others in my 15 years working at Christian Horizons. Thank you, Reese family, for sharing Steven with us & the world. We are all better for it. What a man of faith he was! I know he is in heaven with his Dad and many others ... & he is with Jesus!!! What a comfort!!!
