Condolence From: Jan Bonhomme
Condolence: Dear Jamie - my deepest condolences to you on the loss of your dear Mom Shirley. She volunteered beside me for many years at the Chamber and Pumpkinfest because she loved to be needed and to make a difference. She was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met and I cared about her deeply as I did you. She may not have been the richest, most educated woman but Shirley left a major legacy in having raised the fine man that you became. Your intelligence, work ethic, great manners, sense of responsibility etc. are all reflected in the love and upbringing that Shirley provided to you and Jill. Thinking of you and your family and sending hugs from all of the Bonhomme’s with love 😢❤️

Condolence: I remember our last visit this past October & how you shared with me your weariness of the battle of declining health, of the missing of your dear husband & strong desire to be with him, of the draw of heaven. And dear friend you meant what you said 'cause you awakened early on the morning of Jan.11th/20 & at 4:49 decided to go spend the "day" with Winston & Jesus! As I sat & reflected on the more than three decades of our friendship I shed a few tears but experienced great peace in knowing you had finally secured your heart's desire. I thought of the numerous both fun & serious times; of the many long car rides touring the countryside; of sharing all the blessings & woes of being moms & wives! Even of the times we were in disagreement, strongly so, yet worked through it all & reaping the benefit of compromise when required because the friendship was so worth it. Jamie & Jill, your mom always spoke so highly of you [well mostly!] & was so proud of you two. How she missed you both as you moved into your own life's journeys & yet enjoyed witnessing & being a part of that too.
See you in the morning Shirl!!!!!
