Obituary for Shirley Elaine Dietz
Dietz, Shirley Elaine (nee Pope) passed away peacefully at Lanark Heights LTC on June 1, 2022 at the age of 95.
Beloved wife of the late Howard Dietz (2005). Loving Mom of Larry (Marielle) Dietz and the late Don (Vera) Dietz.
Proud Grandma of David, Steven (Claire) Dietz, Lasha (Jamie) Keith, Marcus (Jessie) Dietz. Great Grandma to Quinn, Reid, Evan, Leah, Thomas and Olivia.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents Mary & William Pope and brothers Clyde, Robert and Kenneth.
At Shirley’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Memory Gardens under the direction of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener.
A very special “thank you” to the healthcare professionals, personal support workers and caregivers at Lanark Heights LTC who provided comfort and care to Mom during the past year.
