Obituary for Sharon Eileen Habkirk
Habkirk, Sharon Eileen (Nee Richards, Nee Porter)
Passed away in the morning of December 26th, 2020 at The Village of Winston Park at the age of 75.
Sharon was predeceased by her first husband Donald Richards (1995). She leaves behind her husband, Jack Habkirk. She was the loving mother to Kathryn Richards (Anthony Cousineau) and Daryl Richards (Laura Centore). Grandmother to Josh and Caitlin Brast. Step-mother to John Habkirk, Elizabeth Pilarski and Will (Jessica) Habkirk and step-grandmother to their children. She will be remembered by her many extended relatives and friends in Kitchener-Waterloo, Nova Scotia and Alberta.
Sharon was always a creative and artistic individual. Though she tried everything, she excelled in watercolours, pen and ink paintings and needlework. She worked for over 24 years in various roles and departments at Conestoga College before her retirement.
Thank you to the staff and volunteers at The Village of Winston Park for their loving care of Sharon, especially in these challenging times.
A private family interment has taken place.
