Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2023 at Sunnyside Home at the age of 64.
Beloved husband of Denise for over 40 years.
Loving dad of Jeff Sweitzer (Jill Rose) and Jennifer Nelson (Dave).
Cherished grandpa of Xander Martin, Rielly Sweitzer and Beckett Nelson.
Dear brother of Diane (the late Ken Dekker) and son of the late Donald and Beatrice Sweitzer.
He is also missed by his nephews Kyle (Jamie) and Michael (Ashley) Dekker.
Scott was passionate about history and collecting model cars. He loved his family and was very proud of their many accomplishments.
Scott's family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to Sunnyside Home for their care and compassion for his care in the final years of his life.
Scott's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2023 in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Woodland Cemetery on Monday, January, 30 at 11:00 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
