In Loving Memory of "Jean/Jan" who passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Freeport Health Centre at the age of 87. She was born in Harriston, Ontario, October 10, 1931 to Norman George Dowling and Ida Elizabeth Dowling (nee Noble).

Enjoyed most of her busy but very happy family, work and sporting life in Kitchener, Ontario, where she opened Jan's Beauty Salon and later worked at Sears for many years. Loved and will be greatly missed by her three surviving children Lori Maguire, Mark Yung and Christopher Yung.
Dear sister of Verna Witt and Joseph Dowling.
Predeceased by her son Shane Matthews, husbands John Yung and Robert Martin and her sister Ila Gerrie.

A Memorial Service will be held at Forest Hill United Church, 121 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener, on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. All family and friends are welcome to share their memories afterwards at the church. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care Unit or Grand River Hospital Foundation - Integrated Stroke Unit, would be appreciated by the family.
